Located between Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure, the village of San Michele di Pagana shows a typical bay of the Riviera Ligure well positioned among the green hills and the cliffs.

Inside the church of San Michele there is the masterpiece of Van Dick "la tela della Crocifissione" (canvas of the Crucifixion) painted during the painter’s stay in San Michele between 1621 and 1624.

The castle of the knights of Malta is architecturally relevant, placed in a superb location on a green promontory dropping sheer to the sea.

You can take a particularly suggestive stroll which connects the village of Trelo to the village of Prelo: it is particularly charming from a natural point of view, framed by beautiful cliffs that runs along the small inlet.
